Below are 5 homeowners who started from 5 different points in their home care journey. Read the underlined text to find out where you are.

“I work in finance, take care of my dad, and just don’t have the tools or time to handle our home alone.” -Allan

I stepped into Allan’s home when there was a pile of shower door glass covering his dad’s bathroom floor. Obvious need for help, but beyond that was years of built up mildew and stains in his dad’s bathroom. This wasn’t Allan’s fault, he had just come home to take care of his dad and didn’t know what needed to be addressed.

In just a few hours we cleared the glass, steamed the mildew out of the bathroom with our heavy duty steamer, dusted, sanitized, vacuumed his dad’s room with our HEPA certified vacuum so he could breathe well, and we finished with a carpet shampoo ridding his pop’s living space of anything that could effect his health. We even made time for Allan’s office and living areas so he could get back to focusing on what mattered most: his dad and his work.

Cleaning is more than just a couple wipes with a rag and a sweep. It can give days and weeks of necessary focus, clarity, and health back when done right. That’s priceless.

“I’m not overwhelmed, but cleaning isn’t my priority”-Josh

Josh goes to school, works an executive position at a tech company, plays guitar, is an pro weight lifter, owns a gym, and takes care of his German Shepard Logan. Balancing all of these things, he has to stay steady to manage the busy life he has.

His home chores and laundry naturally pile up throughout the week and they’re not really what he wants to focus on. But he knows it’s not something he wants to watch slip by and get overwhelming. That’s when he called us, he knew he wanted to make the most out of every hour in his week and he needed someone who could put the same calm determination back into his home as he had in his life.

He was clear with my team what he wanted to have us do, and we were able to not only get those priorities done, but take care of the hidden messes his dog and time left behind. Josh was one of our first clients and years later we still have a great relationship, supporting each other and our goals.

“I don’t have a housekeeper. I have health complications and I just need someone I can trust who knows what they’re doing.” -Kelly

When I met Kelly, she ran a pretty tight ship at home. I could tell she was dedicating hours a week to maintain her home’s peace. Unfortunately, the details were becoming harder to make time for, and she was immunocompromised, so she needed our HEPA vacuum to breathe healthy in her home. She had other things to take care of like church gatherings, her health, her family coming over, and her non-profit work.

She pointed out the details that were being harder to stay on top of, asked us to take care of what she had been doing alone. In just one service our trust was solidified. Not only did we make unusual friends, but our team has been able to make time to go beyond the details she wanted done. To this day we still work with each other. Her home is pristine, her time is back focusing on herself, she has trust she can feel safe and taken care of when she comes come.

“I am so overwhelmed when I come home” -Tony

Tony is a go getter, one of my favorite types of people. He works for a non-profit, owns his own business, styles hair, and somehow finds time to work in a hospital. While his friend is out serving in the Navy, he takes care of his friend’s home and three cats. As you can imagine, this is a lot to manage all at once, he already would have a hard time keeping up with his home without his friend’s cats wreaking havoc when he’s not there.

He called my team with a desperate need for help. It was too much to come home and feel just as disorganized as his day was. Those were critical hours at home he needed to reset.

We essentially told him to say no more, swooped in, handled a deep cleaning that made his home smell like flowers again. Left a hotel touch that actually allowed him to reset as if he were recieving five star maid service. The hours of clarity he got back were absolutely crucial to his well being. We come by weekly to make sure Tony and his cats have a home that invites peace. Finally.

“I have not found the right housekeeper. Things get missed, even after someone’s learned my space. I’m about to give up and do it myself again.” -Ryan

Ryan and his husband Joe both work full time from home and have a dog that sheds just like a lot of dogs. Dust and dishes pile up and at the end of the day they’re ready to reset but they have to reset their homes first. Juggling friends, time with each other, travel, and keeping the lights on leaves little room to clean their homes at the end of the day. Let alone be in a clear headspace to be electric for work the next day. They brought me in feeling cluttered and frustrated, letting me know they were giving cleaning one last shot. Their past cleaners were giving them inconsistent results and more stress.

My first day taking on their project I noticed many areas neglected, thick layers of dust on their ceiling fans, piles of dog hair hidden under their bed, cabinet fronts covered in last month’s supper. This was at no fault of Ryan or Joe. They assigned crews to take care of them and their home, and they were so busy they didn’t have the time to see how much they weren’t being taken care of. But they could feel the past neglect.

Now they have five star treatment they can count on. They have hours back at the end of their week, clarity after work every night, and more quality time to spend with each other. I haven’t had conversations with them about the dust bunny kingdoms our crew conquered, but they know they’re being taken care of by the way they feel settled in their home at the end of the day.
